Desktop Icon Toy نرم افزاري است که به شما مي گويد آيکون بيشتر و دسکتاپ شلوغ تر باعث زيبايي بيشتر ميشود!
اين نرم افزار قادر است تا آيکون هاي دسکتاپ شما را با زيبايي خيره کننده اي در کنار هم قرار دهد به طوري که هر چه تعداد آيکون هاي دسکتاپ بيشتر باشد بر زيبایي آن اضافه مي گردد. همچنين اين نرم افزار در قسمت Layout داراي 26 طرح گوناگون و زيبا است که به طور نمونه میتوان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد

از قابلیت های مختلف این نرم افزار میتوان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد :

- Customize Icon :
اين قسمت مربوط به ترتيب قرار گرفتن آيکون هاست شما در اين قسمت مي توانيد محل قرار گرفتن آيکون ها را در هر کدام از 26 طرح تغيير دهيد و به سليقه خود آنها را چيده و ذخيره کنيد.

- Hover Effects :
اين پخش از پر طرفدار ترين پخش هاي نرم افزار Desktop Icon Toy است زيرا مربوط به رقصيدن آيکون هاست!
با انتخاب گزينه Dance Icon وقتي موس کامپيوتر بر روي هر کدام از آيکون ها مي رود آيکون مورد نظر به سمت بالا و پايين جا به جا مي شود و انگار در حال رقصيدن مي باشد که شما مي توانيد اين حالت را به 3 حالت ديگر (Blink Icon Text ، Shake Icon Text و Show/Hide Icon Text) بدون رقص تبديل کنيد.

- Layout Affects :
اين قسمت يکي ديگر از قسمت هاي جذاب نرم افزار است زيرا مربوط به طريقه ظاهر شدن آيکون هاست!
اگر شما در اين قسمت گزينه Move icon one by one را انتخاب کرده باشيد هر باري که سيستم را روشن و يا برنامه اجرا مي کنيد در ابتدا هيچ آيکوني بر روي دسکتاپ ديده نمي شود ولي بعد از چند ثانيه آيکون ها از سمت و جهتي که شما انتخاب کرده ايد تک تک ظاهر شده و پس از طي مسيري به سرعت يکي پس از ديگري حرکت کرده و در سر جاي خود قرار مي گيرند. قسمت Layout Affects شامل 2 گزينه ديگر مي شود که يکي No animation مربوط به ظاهر شدن يک دفعه آيکون هاست و ديگري Move all icons together مربوط به ظاهر شدن يک دفعه آیکون ها ولي از سمتي که شما انتخاب کرده ايد.

- Start position :
اين قسمت مرتبت است با قسمت Layout Affects در واقع در اين قسمت 7 گزينه (Top-left ، Top-right ، Bottom-left ، Bottom-right ، Center ، Original و Random above) مختلف وجود دارد که با انتخاب هر کدام از گزينه جهت و سمتي را که آيکون ها بايد از آن طرف حرکت کنند را مشخص مي کند.

- Icon Size :
اين قسمت مربوط به سايز آيکون هاست که در چهار سايز 64×64 ، 48×48 ، 32×32 و 128×128 درجه بندي شده است.

- Layout after start :
اين بخش مرتبت با طرحي است که انتخاب کرده ايد.
شامل 2 گزينه Random layout نمايش طرح به صورت تصادفي و گزينه Restore last layout نمايش طرح انتخاب شده، مي باشد.

- Hiding :
اين قسمت خود به دو بخش Icon Hiding و Text Hiding تقسيم مي شود که مربوط به پنهان شدن آيکون ها و نوشته هاي آنهاست.
با انتخاب گزينه Hide icons when mouse move off icon آيکون ها پنهان شده و در صورت رفتن موس به محلي که آيکون ها قرار دارند ، ظاهر شده و پس از 2 ثانيه که مي توان زمان آنرا افزايش داد دوباره پنهان مي شوند.
در اين بخش 2 گزينه ديگر وجود دارد که يکي Always hide icons مربوط به پنهان شدن آيکون ها به طور دائم و ديگري Hide icons when mouse move off icon پنهان شدن آيکون ها در حالتي که موس بر روي دسکتاپ نباشد که مي توان زمان ظاهر شدن را تغيير داد. در بخش Text Hiding هم مانند بخش Icon Hiding سه گزينه وجود دارد که به جاي تغييرات بر روي خود آيکون ها ، بر روي نوشته هاي آنها تغييراتي را ايجاد مي کند.

نرم افزار Desktop Icon Toy شامل قسمت هاي بسيار متنوع و مختلفي است که در صورت کار با آن حتمآ شما هم يکي از طرفداران اين نرم افزار بسيار جالب خواهيد شد اما به دليل زياد بودن اين قسمت ها نمي توان به توضيح تمام پخش ها و قسمت هاي آن پرداخت. جالب است بدانيد در اين نرم افزار قسمتي به نام Security وجود دارد که مي توانيد با وارد کردن پسورد در اين قسمت، برنامه را قفل کنيد تا کسي به غير از شما نتواند به تنظيمات آن دسترسي داشته باشد
